The submission deadline for the Women in Film Festival New Media Awards is fast approaching!
If you have a project that uses emerging technologies to tell a story you should submit. Here are the details:
Submission Deadline: Friday December 5th, 2009
Fee: FREE!!
Eligibility:
- 1/3 of key positions on the project are filled by women
- any genre
- any length
Format:
- Submit video / audio based projects on DVD or CD
- For computer based art, such as computer games or internet art, please provide an URL and description
- For new media installations, please send a written proposal and stills images
- If special equipment is required for viewing, please note on application
Notification and Awards:
New Media projects that are selected for an award will be notified on January 5th 2009 by phone or email.
The projects will be juried by a panel of judges and a Festival Award will be given to the: woman who shows outstanding talent in the new media field. This winner will be acknowledged at the closing reception.
